On September 22, ASCO’s first webinar dedicated to quality improvement in cancer care during the COVID-19 pandemic will examine challenges faced for oncology providers around the world. The 60-minute webinar will be moderated by ASCO’s International Quality Task Force (IQTF) chair, Dr. Douglas Blayney from Stanford University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. Panelists include esteemed ASCO members and IQTF members from Brazil, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates and their individual perspectives on the impact of quality on cancer care during the present pandemic.
If you participated in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) in 2019, your performance feedback, including your MIPS final score and payment adjustment factor(s), is now available for review on the Quality Payment Program website. This final score determines the payment adjustment you will receive in 2021, with a positive, negative, or neutral payment adjustment being applied to the Medicare paid amount for covered professional services furnished by a MIPS eligible clinician in 2021.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) will be hosting a webinar on “Understanding Clinical Quality Measures: How CMS is Modernizing its Approach to Digital Measurement”. The webinar will provide an overview of quality measurement, unique features of electronic clinical quality measures and future plans for digitization. The webinar will also address burden reduction, measure reporting considerations and provide information about key resources. The webinar will be offered twice and registration links are provided below:
The Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) has released 2019 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance feedback and final scores. If you submitted data for the 2019 performance period, you can view your MIPS performance feedback and final score on the Quality Payment Program website.
The Physician Compare preview period ends on August 20, 2020 at 8:00 PM ET. Don’t miss your chance to preview your 2018 Quality Payment Program performance information before it is publicly reported on Physician Compare profile pages and in the downloadable database. You can access the secured measure preview site through the Quality Payment Program website.
